UpT (Unione per il Trentino = Union for Trentino)
The UpT is a
regionalist party in Trento province, founded 2008 as a continuation of the "Civica
Margherita". It currently holds 6 seats in the provincial parliament of Trento.
For the February 2013 elections, it was one of the main founding constituents of
Mario Monti's "Scelta Civica". As part of this list
the UpT won 1 seat each in the Camera dei Deputati and the Senato.
The
symbol is divided by a white inscription "Unione" in an upper blue and a lower
green part; in the green part under a red line the remaining part of the party
name; in the upper blue part a daisy flower (as a reference to the earlier "Civica
Margherita" party). The flag is white with the symbol [1,2,3,4,5].
